Volunteers are still needed for the 2025 Canadian Championships!

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved, support the athletes from all across the country, and be part of an incredible event. 

Volunteer Perks
All volunteers will receive free admission to the event on the day of their volunteer shift.
If you are helping with set-up or tear-down, you will receive a complimentary ticket for a day of your choice to attend the event.

Additional Information for All Volunteers

• Police Record Check: All volunteers 18 years and older must provide a police record check dated within the last three years. Volunteers under 18 do not need a police check. 
  • If you already have a valid check, please email a copy to support@abgym.ab.ca.
  • If you require one, you can begin the process here. 
  • Need a letter to request a background check? Let us know at support@abgym.ab.ca.
    If you do not receive your police record check back in time, we just require proof of it being processed. Please email proof of it being processed to support@abgym.ab.ca. We do not compensate for the fee of the police record check.
• Online Safe Sport Training: Completion of the Safe Sport session is also required. You can access the training here.

Please note: Volunteers assisting only with event set-up and tear-down are exempt from both the police record check and Safe Sport training.

• Dress Code: Please wear all black clothing during your volunteer shift. This does not apply to those helping with equipment set-up/take-down or award presenters.

Want a shot at winning $10,000? Purchase tickets for our 50/50 raffle to celebrate the 2025 Canadian Championships and support AGF!

As a not-for-profit organization, the AGF provides services and resources benefiting all levels of our sport. Proceeds from this draw will support athlete and coach development, program resources, and future competitions.

This 50/50 will run for the entire event from May 25th-30th, 2025 with the winner being contacted in June. The jackpot winner will split all proceeds up to $10,000. Due to AGLC regulations, residents from outside the province can win, but tickets must be purchased in Alberta.
