The Cauldron

Who: Merlin Works students and graduates from across all classes who wish to get more stage time!

What: This show mixes Stand-Up, Musical Improv, Storytelling and Improv with the Stand-Up Comedian being the jumping off point for a through-line of the whole show.

Recess

Who: Anyone who has completed Improv 201 at Merlin Works Improv is invited to submit to Recess either individually or as a team. If submitting as an individual, you will be grouped with other individuals to form a one-night-only team.

What: An improv show consisting of both existing teams and mash-up teams performing 15-minute montage sets for the sake of giving students onstage reps and helping them become more confident improvisers.

FYI: Participants should submit via the form in order to take part in the show, with a limited number of spots available for walk-up improvisers.

Potions Night

Where: Merlin Works East: Creative Action 1023 Springdale Road, Bldg. 3, Austin, TX 78721

Who: Show is open to the public to attend. All Merlin Works students or graduates may submit an act via email to grace@merlin-works.com. Pitch should include a brief description of your idea and information around the time or tech your act would need. (NOTE: Pitching an act does not guarantee participation.) 

What: A variety show featuring acts developed and pitched by Merlin Works students, graduates and faculty/staff. Come out and enjoy as performers mix together the skills they've learned over time to form fascinating elixirs! 

FYI: Intended for audiences age 16 and up.
