These NCCP Courses are only made available to Newfoundland and Labrador Residents. If you are from out of province, you will need permission from your Provincial & Territorial Sports Organization.

Competition Introduction Competition Development

The Competition Introduction stream is designed for coaches who are working with athletes at the beginner or early competitive level

(Make Ethical Decisions, Planning a Practice, Basic Mental Skills, Teaching & Learning)

The Competition Development stream is tailored for coaches working with athletes who are progressing to higher levels of performance and competition. Please ensure you have your Comp Intro pre requisites completed before entering into this stream.

(Advanced Planning a Practice, Coaching and Leading Effectively, Developing Athletic Abilities, Psychology of Performance )

Coaching NL Course Cancellation and Credit Card Policy

Coaching NL invests in coach education by providing all National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Multi-Sport courses free of charge to interested individuals. To better manage this program, and in the best interest of coaches and facilitators, we have updated our course cancellation and credit card policies.

Coach Cancellations

Effective October 1, 2025, any coach who provides inadequate cancellation notice or fails to attend a course (“no-show”) will be charged a $75.00 fee. Coaches will not be permitted to register for additional courses until this fee is paid, and repeat occurrences will result in a three-month registration suspension.

To maximize learning opportunities, all registrants must unregister no later than 48 hours prior to the course start time if unable to attend. Timely cancellations allow others on the waitlist to register and provide facilitators with adequate preparation time.

Credit Card Information

Credit card information will not be retained beyond the completion date of the registered course. Cards will only be charged in accordance with the Cancellation Policy, specifically in the event of a no-show or late cancellation.
