Coach Development

Ringette Manitoba may use WCRC funds to offset the cost of coach seminars or training outside of normal clinics (CSI/CI/CD).

Coaches can apply for a grant to offset costs for Professional Development training for the following modules:

• Creating a Positive Sport Environment
• Basic Mental Skills
• Fundamental Movement Skills
• Planning a Practice
• Teaching and Learning

Officials Development

Officials can apply for a grant to offset costs for Professional Development training for the following modules:

• Decision Making for Officials
• Skilled Interaction for Officials

Both modules must be accessed through the Locker on www.coach.ca. If you dont have an existing profile, one must be created.

Criteria/Eligibility

• Applicants must be a member in good standing with Ringette Manitoba and their Local Association.
• Coaches and Officials must be registered and active for the current season.
• Training must be paid for up front and receipt of payment included in the grant application.
• Ringette Manitoba will confirm successful completion of any training prior to money being paid out.
