At this time, we will be hiring one Team Manager to support the planning stages of the program. However, all applications will be kept on file, and additional candidates may be contacted as the team expands and the need for support grows.

Team Manager Responsibilities & Requirements

Gymnastics Saskatchewan will appoint a team manager to assist both the coach for the training team and the developmental team with an extension based on Saskatchewan’s team selection for World Gymnaestrada 2027. A small honorarium may be available, depending on the final fee structure, which will be determined in collaboration with the coaches and Gym Sask staff upon appointment. Travel expenses to training camps and each Gymnaestrada event will be covered. Additional managers may be brought on if participation numbers allow.

Team Managers will be responsible to:

• Work with the coaches to implement training plans.
• Manage registrations for the team and act as liaison between the team and Gym Sask staff.
• Manage program requirements throughout the year - facility bookings, equipment, schedules, etc.
• Manage event bulletins and registrations, ensuring all payments and other deadlines leading up to the event are followed.
• Behave according to the Gym Sask code of conduct and safe sport policies.
• Act as a chaperone for the team during each event.

Team managers may also participate in the choreography, provided that there are enough Team Managers not participating in case of emergency during the Gymnaestrada event, and their managerial responsibilities take priority both during training and at each Gymnaestrada event.
