Parry Sound Forest School - 2025/2026 Family Special Events Registration

Come and experience the forest together as a family, at one of our Family Special Events. Events will be added as they come up, with registration opening a few weeks before each event. Details about each event can be found below.

Most of our events will be held at our Canadore location. Please note the location in the class selection below.

Please also keep in mind that the terrain of our site is uneven and all aspects of this event may not be suitable for all ability levels.

Registration for each event is limited to 25 participants with a suggested donation of $10.00/family.

Remember to register all participants (adults and children) who will be attending.

These events are open to all ages, however children 12 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult. Thank you!

Family Birding Hike

Suggested $10 Donation per family is appreciated

Get your binoculars ready! Join us as we learn more about our amazing winged neighbours on this Family Birding Hike. We'll have fun learning about birds and how to identify them before heading out to look for them together. We have a limited number of binoculars to lend; please bring your own if you have them.

Consent & Assumption of Risk*

Before attending, every person attending must complete an Informed Consent & Assumption of Risk Summary Form. These forms MUST be completed prior to to the event date, or you will not be permitted to attend. These forms will appear after you complete your registration. You are only required to complete this form once for the year, so if you have registered to a previous event/class with Parry Sound Forest School in 2025, you do not have to complete it again.
