Secureship Challenge Series

The Secureship Challenge Series is a series of afternoon matches organized monthly throughout the season. This flexible format allows you to participate in the event of your choice, play against different opponents, and accumulate ranking points.

Format

Approximately one event per month, on Saturdays or Sundays.
Choose your events: you select the one in which you wish to participate. You can participate in one or more events.
Maximum of 24 players per event.
Depending on the schedule, each player will play 1 or 2 matches.
Matches consist of 5 mandatory games to 11 points, even when a player wins the first 3 games.
Points accumulate throughout the season.
Points earned depend on the match result and the difference in ClubLocker ratings between the two players.
At the end of the season, your 3 best results will be used to establish the final standings.
Beginner to expert levels (You will play against players of a similar level.)
The schedule for January to April 2027 will be announced in November.

Please note
Starting with your third participation, you must be a member of Squash Outaouais ($25 annually).

Saturday November 7th : 12:45pm-3pm
Matches starts at 12:45pm - 1:30pm - 2:15pm
Sunday November 29th : 3pm-5:15pm
Matches start at 3pm - 3:45pm - 4:30pm

Registration deadline
You must register by 5 p.m. on the Wednesday preceding the event you have chosen.

Secureship Challenge Series Rules

By registering for the challenge series, you agree to the following rules:

Match Schedule
The match schedule will be sent 2 days before the selected event.

If your schedule changes and you are no longer available, please contact us as soon as possible. Once the schedule has been sent, no refunds are possible. If the schedule has not been sent, we may credit your participation toward a later date.

Friendly Spirit and Respect for the Rules

The challenge series is friendly: the enjoyment of playing and respect among participants take priority over competition.
The official squash rules apply, particularly those concerning obstructions (no let, let, stroke). If you are unsure how the rules apply, please contact us; we will be happy to guide you.
Each player agrees to be honest by acknowledging when the ball has bounced twice, gone out, or when they have obstructed their opponent.

Safety and Courtesy

Players must avoid dangerous actions and play with control at all times. Excessive swings are not tolerated.
Protective eyewear is mandatory for players aged 18 and under and strongly recommended for adult players.
Politeness and mutual respect are expected in every match.

Communication

Any problem or special situation must be reported promptly to the organizer.
