Questo Camp Code of Conduct
To ensure a safe and positive experience, we expect all campers to follow these guidelines. Failure to comply may lead to immediate suspension without refund.
- Safety First:
- Campers must remain on-site and are not permitted to leave the premises alone during camp hours.
- Campers must remain with their assigned group and supervisor at all times.
- Parents must sign in their child at the start of the day and sign out at the end of the day.
- For children 10+, a special authorization required to leave campus independently after camp hours. We encourage parents to assess their child's maturity and safety skills before granting this permission.
- No physical violence, hitting, or aggressive behavior toward other campers or staff.
- Respect Others: Bullying, teasing, discriminatory language (racial slurs, etc.) or other forms of verbal violance are strictly prohibited.
- Respect Property: Intentional damage to camp equipment or the facilities is not allowed.
- Follow Directions: Prompt cooperation with instructor requests is required for everyone’s safety.
- Zero Tolerance: Physical violence, possession of dangerous objects or illegal substances will result in immediate dismissal.
Attendance & Absences
Checking In: We take attendance at 9:00 a.m. If your child is missing, we will call your contact numbers to ensure they are safe.
Reporting Absences: Please notify the supervisor in advance if your child will be away.
Sick Days: While we don’t offer refunds for single-day absences, confirmed sick weeks can be transferred to another week (free of charge) with a doctor’s note.
Health & Safety
Medication: All prescription meds must be kept in the camp office. Please provide clear written instructions for our supervisor.
Asthma: Campers may carry their inhalers or keep them in the office. Please share usage instructions with the supervisor.
Severe Allergies: A camp can be an allergy-sensitive environment. While we make every effort to remain peanut-free, we kindly ask for your cooperation in ensuring no nut products are brought to camp. In case of emergency, our staff is trained to recognize reactions and use auto-injectors.
Auto-Injectors: Children with life-threatening allergies must bring an auto-injector to be stored in the camp office.
If Your Child Feels Unwell
At Home: If your child has a fever, severe cough, or contagious condition (like head lice), please keep them home and notify us.
At Camp: If a child becomes ill during the day, they will rest in the office while we contact you for pick-up. Sick children cannot remain at camp for the day.
