Adaptive Bike Testing Station
The Adaptive Bike Testing Station offers you the opportunity to try out different adapted bikes for free in order to discover solutions that can facilitate or make cycling more comfortable.
During your individual appointment, you will be able to try a tricycle or a low-seat bike with a low frame, as well as various accessories that can improve stability, comfort or pedaling according to your needs. Personalized support will be provided throughout the session.
The appointment takes place in a protected outdoor area at La Fontaine Park and lasts approximately one hour.
This activity is open to everyone and is intended for both individuals who wish to find out whether an adaptive bike or tricycle could better meet their needs, whether due to balance issues, difficulty mounting a bike, physical discomfort, or other functional limitations, and those simply curious about exploring the possibilities offered by adaptive bikes.
The service is offered by appointment starting in August, subject to availability:
Monday to Friday: from 9 AM to 8 PM
Saturday and Sunday: from 9 AM to 6 PM
Duration: 1 hour
Location: La Vespasienne at La Fontaine Park, Montreal, QC
