Sport Manitoba Officials' Female Mentorship Program is a key initiative dedicated to increasing the number of confident and competent female officials in all contexts in our province.

This program focuses on working with passionate female officials as mentees and providing them with knowledgeable and passionate female mentors.

Purpose

Create a mentorship program for female officials in Manitoba through meaningful mentee / mentor pairings.
Provide an online community of practice for mentee officials to build and enhance their toolkits.
Provide female officials from a range of sports and contexts, with the opportunity to learn from other knowledgeable officials across the province.
Enhance the pool of Manitoba officials that are qualified and have the tools to officiate at their desired contexts.
Create relationships amongst officials that are lasting and supportive, allowing for the sustainability of our current female officials throughout the province.‍

Eligibility

Mentee:

Must self-identify as a female
Must be a registered official in Manitoba with a Provincial Sport Organization
Must have a minimum of 1 year of officiating experience

Mentor:

Must self-identify as a female
Must be a registered official in Manitoba with a Provincial Sport Organization
Minimum 5 years officiating experience
Willing to share knowledge and experiences to mentees
