A Little About This Cause

This initiative was initially championed by Amar, a member of our Steveston community and an advocate for poverty-relief efforts in Sri Lanka. For over a dozen years, Amar had been working with the Richmond Firefighters Charitable Society to build homes and improve the living conditions of impoverished families in numerous countries, most recently in Sri Lanka.

What is the goal?

Our goal is to build homes for two families and equip them with the means to support their livelihoods long term.
