Membership freeze *

SUBSCRIPTION SUSPENSION

Subscription suspension is only possible for annual subscriptions to Sporthèque. Only the following cases will be accepted for a temporary suspension of payments:

  • Pregnancy; 
  • Medical issue; 
  • Study, internship or work outside the region (more than 100km).

The following conditions must be met in order to benefit from a subscription freeze: 

  • The suspension cannot be retroactive; 
  • A suspension request must be sent by email using this form; 
  • The applicant must provide supporting documentation. Only medical proof or proof of relocation will be accepted. The suspension will only take effect once the supporting document is provided; 
  • The suspension must be a minimum duration of 3 months and lost months will not be replaced; 
  • A fee of $10 + taxes will be charged per month and per person affected by the suspension to keep the subscription active. These fees are payable as soon as the subscription suspension takes effect and will be deducted according to the payment method in force in the subscription contract; 
  • Couple Subscription;
    • The price of an individual subscription will be charged to the spouse until their subscription resumes.

Membership cancellation - Espace Hygie *

CANCELLATION OF SUBSCRIPTION

According to consumer protection law, the termination of a contract can be done within a period equal to one-tenth of the duration of the subscription, and the merchant is entitled to charge at most one-tenth of the total value of the subscription including administrative fees. The relevant articles regarding this policy can be found between articles 197 and 205 of the consumer protection act.

ESPACE HYGIE

Annual Subscription (12 months)

It is possible to cancel the Espace Hygie subscription as well as the Espace Hygie and Sporthèque subscription without penalty. The request must be submitted at least 1 month before the next payment date otherwise it will be charged to you and will not be refunded. The subscription will remain valid until the end of the paid month. Subsequent payments will be canceled.

Membership Modification Request

It is possible to modify your membership to a new plan that meets your needs. Please note that any modification request is considered a new annual subscription contract and will be reactivated for 12 months, starting from the date of processing the request.

In the case of a membership modification to a higher-value plan, there are no fees.

In the case of a membership modification to a lower-value plan, a penalty of 3 months corresponding to the difference between the values of the two subscriptions will be charged. This penalty can be paid in installments or will be charged at the same time as the first payment of your new contract.

Membership Cancellation - Sporthèque *

CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP

According to consumer protection law, the termination of a contract can be done within a period equal to one-tenth of the subscription duration, and the merchant is entitled to require at most one-tenth of the total value of the subscription including administrative fees. The relevant articles regarding this policy can be found between articles 197 and 205 of the Consumer Protection Act.

THE SPORTHÈQUE

Annual Membership (12 months)

The cancellation of the annual subscription can be done within a period equal to one-tenth of the subscription duration which is 36.5 days. We are entitled to require at most one-tenth of the total value of the subscription including administrative fees. 

After this period, a penalty of 3 months will be required for canceling the subscription and must be paid on the same day as the cancellation.

Short-Term Subscription (11 months or less)

  • Subscription less than 3 months: Within 48 hours from the date of subscription, we refund 90% of the amount paid excluding administrative fees; 
  • Subscription for 3 months: Within 10 days from the date of subscription, we refund 90% of the amount paid excluding administrative fees;
  • Subscription more than 3 months: Within 20 days from the date of subscription, we refund 90% of the amount paid excluding administrative fees. 

No refunds will be issued after this period.
