Club Agreement

By purchasing a Club Membership (Gymnastics for All and/or Competitive) our club intends to become a member of the Manitoba Gymnastics Association in the 2025-2026 Membership Season from September 1st, 2025 to August 31st, 2026. This purchase is made with the understanding that if accepted, the club organization will be governed by the by-laws, policies, and procedures of the Manitoba Gymnastics Association.

Our club understands the MGA allows an initial 30 business day grace period to register our members after your club program commencement date. We fully understand that our individual members and related payment must be received by Manitoba Gymnastics Association within 30 business days of our program commencement date. Any registrations received after 30 days grace period are subject to an additional $1.00 per member and a $25 late payment fee.

Club PIPEDA Declaration

Our club has obtained written consent from our members for the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information to the Manitoba Gymnastics Association (MGA) and Gymnastics Canada (Gymcan) for the following purposes:

Receiving information and communications from MGA/Gymcan in order to
provide members with the programs, services, products and information required
as a member of MGA/Gymcan including newsletters, e-mail bulletins, donation
requests, invoices, notification of future programs, activities, fundraising and
merchandise sales;
Establishment and management of trust funds and distribution of honorariums;
Processing merchandise orders, registration, and travel administration;
Athlete registration, outfitting uniforms, monitoring eligibility and team selection;
In the case of medical emergencies;
Media relations and media publications; and
Publishing sports information.

Our club will indemnify, release, hold harmless and forever discharge the MGA/Gymcan and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers and representatives for any claims, actions or costs that may arise out of, or in relation to, the collection, use or disclosure of personal information which was disclosed by our club, MGA/Gymcan and others.

Such indemnification with include any amount paid by MGA/Gymcan with respect to liability and any and all legal fees and disbursements incurred by MGA/Gymcan.

I make this solemn declaration, having the necessary authority to bind our club conscientiously believing it to be true and knowing that it is the same force and effect as if made under oath and by virtue of the Canada Evidence Act. This written consent will be retained for the 2025-2026 membership year.

Additional Insurance Program (if applicable)

I understand the requirements to participate in the additional insurance program are as follows;

The party/session must be structed lessons with instructors providing safe activities that are applicable to the participants age and abilities.
Clubs are to ensure there is at least 1:8 coach to participate ratio.
At least one coach facilitating the party/session must be a minimum GF Certified + GF Trampoline trained (for clubs using trampolines). No saltos permitted.
Each participant must have signed a consent/waiver form.
All fees must be reported, paid and submitted to the MGA within 30 days following the event.
If an individual attends multiple camps over the course of the season and the total days combined is more than 5, a full membership is required.
