This is the ultra-basic, new skater friendly class you’ve been waiting for! Welcome to Learn to Roller Skate Little Skaters!  

HI! My name is Elaine.  I am the Co-Founder of Retro Rollers Inc, and your roller skate Instructor!  I’m excited to teach you how to safely slow down and stop, stride, steer and we also touch on backwards skating all while building your confidence and understanding how to utilize your body to move gracefully. In addition to those skills, knowing how to position yourself to keep your balance in check, and even catch your balance to prevent falls.  We have you covered!  

All participants must bring and wear safety gear including helmet, wrist guards and knee pads.  We do not rent out helmets, or safety gear.

• Please arrive at least 15mins before the start of class (doors will be open 30 min before)
• Rental roller skates are an additional $5 available at checkout
• Smallest Rental Skate size is J10 (or Toddler 10).  If they're feet are smaller, it's not wise to register them.
• Created for the age 13 and under beginner skater
• If minimum class size is not met then we reserve the right to bump participants to the next scheduled class.
• Participants are encouraged to bring their own full water bottle for hydration – you will be happy you did!
• If we postpone for any reason, you will receive a replacement class.
• This is a ROLLER SKATE lesson, therefore inline skates and/or roller blades are not permitted.  These are two different activities and this class requires the use of roller skates specifically.
• There is lots of parking available, and it is free.
