Parry Sound Forest School - Snow Day Camp 2026

Snow Day Camps!

The Parry Sound Forest School is offering Snow Day Camps as a pilot project this winter season. Join us during bus cancellation days to embrace the winter season and embark on snowy adventures! A cozy fire will be lit in the cabin for warming up in if needed.

Snow Day Camp will be offered as a 5 Class Package

Upon Registration, your child(ren) will be placed on the Attendance List for the
next 5 consecutive Snow Days in a row.

Snow Day Camp runs on the days of Bus Cancellation notices (due to weather) from the Nipissing-Parry Sound Student Transportation Services
If the schools are closed due to severe weather, the Forest School will also be closed.
You will receive an email the morning of a Bus Cancellation Day to confirm the Snow Day Camp is Open.

Please note: In the unlikely chance that we have to cancel this pilot program due to low enrollment the full registration amount will be credited to your family for use in future PSFS programs.

Additionally: Pending a successful pilot launch, additional blocks of 5 Consecutive Snow Day Camps will be offered. At the end of the season, if there aren't any more bus cancellation days, any remaining balance will be reimbursed as a credit to your family's account.

We are very excited to offer Snow Day Camps to our community; it's a wonderful opportunity for children to experience Forest School, take part in winter activities and explore the winter biome under a snow covered canopy. We look forward to seeing you in the forest!
