Local Associations can apply for a maximum of $2000 depending on a submitted financial plan. Associations targeting underserved communities will receive priority.

Promotion

Local Associations can apply for a maximum of $500 for promotional items for use at recruiting events. These items must contain Ringette Manitoba branding as part of the final design. Final design must be approved by Ringette Manitoba.

Criteria/Eligibility

Applicants must be a full member in good standing with Ringette Manitoba.
Applicants must indicate how the grant will benefit their organization and others in their sport community.
Recruitment grant cannot be used towards costs of a Come Try event.
A final report including a narrative and financial summary of actual revenues/expenses are required upon completion.
Funding will be provided once a post event report is submitted showing actual expenses. If expenses are below the grant amount, the full grant will not be paid out.
Local Associations may apply for more than one project within an intake period.

Intake periods – August 1st and February 1st annually.

All applications will be reviewed by a committee and applicants will be informed if they are successful.
