Gymnastics BC is pleased to offer financial assistance through $1,000 scholarships to a selected number of deserving student-athletes each year.
All applications are reviewed by the Awards & Scholarships Committee. Applicants are assessed based on the strength of their submission in the following areas: athletic and academic achievements, gymnastics and community involvement, reference letters, and a personal essay.

Please ensure all required sections are complete before submitting. Incomplete applications will not be considered, and additional or corrected submissions will not be accepted after the deadline.
This form may time out after 30 minutes of inactivity. To avoid losing your work, it is your responsibility to save your progress as you go (a valid email address is required to save your progress). We strongly recommend preparing your answers to the below information in a separate Word document and copying them into the form when you’re ready to submit.
Application Requirements
Part A: Athletic Experience & Achievements
Outline your athletic background and accomplishments, both in gymnastics and other sports.
Part B: Scholastic Experience & Career Plans
Include the name of your high school, post-secondary plans, and intended field of study or career goals.
Part C: Gymnastics & Community Involvement
Detail your involvement in gymnastics and the broader community. This may include coaching, judging, volunteering, mentoring, or other contributions.
Part D: Personal Essay (500 words)
Choose one of the following topics:
- Describe the impact gymnastics has had on your life.
- Describe how gymnastics will shape your future growth.
Part E: Reference Letters
Submit a minimum of two reference letters:
- One from someone outside of the gymnastics community.
- One from a current coach, administrator, or representative of your GymBC member club.
- Letters from past coaches or supervisors may also be included.
Part F: Additional Information & Authorization
You may include any supplementary materials you feel strengthen your application, such as media articles, interviews, or photos of your involvement in gymnastics. Include your signature to authorize submission.
