We are grateful and excited that you have chosen Nex Level Summer Camp! Our staff is filled with enthusiasm, experience, and excitement and we are looking forward to an amazing summer with our campers. The two main goals of our Summer Camp are:
1) Provide a safe and fun environment for all children. By training our camp staff and maintaining a neat and clean facility, we ensure that camper safety is our number one priority.
2) Encourage character-building through fun. During our activities, campers learn to set goals, learn through failure and success, and how to cheer on their peers.
It is our pleasure to welcome you to Nex Level Summer Camp – let the fun begin!

CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS/DISABILITIES
Nex Level will request, and review information given by the parent related to the child’s participation in the program. Identification of specific accommodations required to meet the needs of the child, which would include a change or modification in the child’s participation in regular activities, would be reviewed. In addition, identification of any special equipment, materials, ramps or aids will be discussed. If such accommodations will cause undue financial burden on Nex Level Summer Camp, the parent will be notified. Every effort will be made to accommodate each camper. Please inform us of any special circumstances that may influence your child at camp.
DISCIPLINE POLICY
We will operate on a three-step discipline basis. The three steps are as follows:
1. Camper will sit out of game/activity for 10 minutes. At end of 10 minutes, counselor will discuss with camper about what they did and what they will do next time to correct their behavior.
2. Camper will sit down with Director and will discuss wrongdoing. Director will issue a final warning to camper. Parent/Guardian will be informed of the situation at pickup.
3. Parent/Guardian will be contacted, and camper will be sent home. At the counselor’s and/or Camp Director’s discretion, a camper may be disciplined according to these three steps for any misbehavior or insubordination. The three steps can be usurped if attitude/incident is severe and camper has to be sent home immediately. Corporal punishment, including spanking, is prohibited. No camper shall be subjected to cruel or severe punishment, humiliation, or verbal abuse. No camper shall be denied food or shelter as a form of punishment. No child shall be punished for soiling, wetting or not using the toilet. Parents of campers have the right to speak with the Camp Director at any time regarding staff behavior or camper issues.
WHAT TO BRING FOR CAMP:
At camp, kids should be ready for all sorts of physical activity. Pants with excessive zippers are not prohibited, but we encourage kids to wear athletic clothing instead (shorts or sweats). Ninja is a very grip heavy activity, so having blisters at the end of the week or multiple weeks is not uncommon. If a camper's hands do rip, we have staff on hand who are able to tape the campers' hands so that they can continue to participate with minimal discomfort. Please do not send your campers with gloves, normal gloves make it harder to hold on to obstacles and special grippy gloves can cause injury with campers getting stuck while trying to transfer between obstacles. The best way to ensure your camper has fun is to send them with their own chalk. You can purchase grip chalk for a discount at our facility. For all other activities, campers should try to bring their own water bottle unless they are ok with using the water fountain. Please send your camper with sneakers, open toed shoes and boots are prohibited. We are a nut free camp, so please send your camper with a nut free snack and if you are participating in the full day camp a nut free lunch as well.
EXPECTATIONS FOR CAMPERS:
Campers are expected to follow directions and be respectful of coaches and other campers at all times. If campers need something (water or bathroom break) they MUST tell their coaches before going to get/ use those things. Coaches need to be aware of campers whereabouts at all times. Campers are also expected to keep their hands to themselves, high fives are great for encouraging their friends but at no time can campers shove or hit another camper or coach. Campers are also expected to be able to go to the bathroom on their own. WE WILL CALL YOU if your camper is asking us to help them so that you can come in to take care of them. We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, not just physical but emotional as well. We will not tolerate poor sportsmanship, or name calling/ teasing that is making a camper uncomfortable. Please remind your campers that they are not the ones who get to decide if they hurt someone, that is for the person who was hurt to decide. We will go over our bullying policy with all campers at the beginning of each camp week. If a camper does not want to participate in an activity, they are more than welcome to sit out and watch. We are so excited to give your camper an amazing experience this summer!
Just a reminder that lunch is not provided but new for this year we will have an option to purchase lunches. You will be getting a separate email closer to the summer on this! Should you choose to bring your lunch, we do have refrigeration should you require it. Also pack a water bottle and a snack! Again, please wear sneakers and ‘gym clothes’ No crocs, boots, or open toed shoes.
