Volleyball Manitoba has recently been working with Sport Manitoba and Canadian Sport Centre Manitoba in a bid to base the Men’s National Team program in Winnipeg. Part of the programming includes the National Excellence Program (NEP) that brings the top grade 11 and 12 identified athletes from across the country to a centralized training site from September – December.

A component of NEP is a billeting program for each of the athletes and as such we are reaching out to the local volleyball community to identify interest from potential billets. Please review the Volleyball Canada National Excellence Program Homestay Handbook for more information. If your household may be interested in supporting athlete(s) for this program, we ask you to please complete this form by end of day on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

This is only an expression of interest as a billet, not a formal commitment. If Manitoba is selected to host the NEP in 2026, we will follow up with everyone who has expressed interest in hosting.

Training for this program will primarily take place at Sport Manitoba (145 Pacific Avenue) in downtown Winnipeg.
