To ensure a safe, harmonious, and enjoyable experience for all our members, each area of Sporthèque and Espace Hygie is governed by specific usage policies. By subscribing to a membership, you agree to comply with these rules, which are designed to guarantee the quality of services offered and promote respect among users.

The following rules specify, in particular, the conditions of access, expected behavior, reservations, and instructions specific to each area (e.g., pool, training studios, racquet courts, gym, etc.). It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with these policies and follow them during your visits.

Any violation of the regulations may result in measures ranging from a warning to suspension of access, depending on the severity of the situation.

Locker Rooms and Sauna Use

Hygiene and Health
Shaving is strictly prohibited in showers and sinks.

Behavior and Respect
Video calls, taking photos, or any audio/video recording is strictly prohibited in all locker rooms, without exception.
Respect for the privacy of other users is required at all times.

Sauna Use

• A towel must be used when sitting or lying on the benches.
• The recommended duration of a session is a maximum of 15 minutes.
• Food or drinks are not allowed, except for a sealed water bottle.
• The sauna is a quiet place: conversations, calls, or any disruptive behavior are prohibited.
• The use of essential oils, sprays, or any other products in the sauna is strictly forbidden.
• Entry to the sauna is prohibited with wet clothing, shoes, or sandals.
• Lying directly on the benches without a towel is prohibited.
• Leave immediately if you feel discomfort, dizziness, or nausea.
• Shoes, Boots, and Personal Items
• During the winter period, shoes and boots must be left at the entrance of Espace Hygie near the access terminals.
• It is recommended to wear clean sandals in showers and wet areas for hygiene reasons.

Responsibility for Personal Belongings

• Espace Hygie (Sporthèque) is not responsible for loss, theft, or vandalism occurring in the locker rooms.
• Lockers are for daily use. If personal items are left in a locker for more than 24 hours, our team will clear the locker and place your items in the lost and found.
• Avoid bringing valuables to the center; it is preferable to leave them at home.

Gym Terms and Conditions

Access and Eligibility

• Access to the gym is reserved for persons aged 13 and older.
  To access the gym, you must:
• Hold an active Espace Hygie or Espace Hygie & Sporthèque membership; or
• Pay a guest fee.

Gym Usage Rules

• Respectful, safe, and courteous behavior is required at all times toward other users and staff.
• Outdoor shoes are not allowed. Only clean, training-appropriate shoes are permitted.
• Bags, coats, or boots are not allowed in the gym; these must be left in the locker rooms.
• If using a cell phone, you must free up equipment to avoid blocking access for other users.
• Equipment must be disinfected after each use with the products provided.

Personal Training

• Clients may not receive training services from an external trainer.
• Personal training services are offered exclusively by accredited facility trainers, under certain conditions and according to membership terms.

SkillX Terms and Conditions

Access and Eligibility

• Access to the SkillX Studio is reserved for persons aged 16 and older.
  To participate in sessions, you must:
• Hold an Espace Hygie or Espace Hygie & Sporthèque membership; or
• Have a valid 10-visit pass; or
• Pay a guest fee, if applicable according to current policies.

Reservation and Cancellation

• Access to the studio is by reservation only, up to 24 hours in advance via the online platform or at reception.
• Cancellations must be made at least two (2) hours before the start of the session. Failure to comply may result in loss of the session or restricted access.

Studio Usage Rules

• Clean, functional training-appropriate shoes are mandatory.
• Entry with outdoor shoes, coats, or bags is prohibited; these must be left in the locker rooms.
  Participants must:
• Clean and disinfect equipment after use (kettlebells, dumbbells, rowers, mats, etc.);
• Return accessories to their place at the end of the session;
• Follow the session format as directed by the instructor.
• Dropping equipment on the floor abruptly is prohibited unless otherwise instructed by the trainer in a safe context.
• Cell phone use must be discreet and not interfere with the session.

Supervision and Safety

• SkillX sessions are supervised by a qualified instructor. Participants must follow instructions to ensure group safety.
• Each participant is responsible for respecting their physical limits. In case of health issues, inform the instructor before the class begins.
• Excessive lateness may result in refusal of entry for safety and smooth course flow.

Biocircuit Terms and Conditions

Access and Eligibility

• Access to Biocircuit is reserved for persons aged 16 and older.
  To use the circuit, you must:
• Hold a membership that includes Biocircuit access; or
• Purchase access according to current policies; or
• Participate in a supervised trial block during a promotion or discovery package.
• A mandatory setup with a trainer is required before the first use to configure your profile and personalized settings.

Usage Rules

• Clean shoes and appropriate training attire are required at all times.
• Entry with boots, coats, or bags is prohibited; these must be left in the locker rooms.
  Users must:
• Clean each machine after use with the disinfectants provided;
• It is strictly forbidden to manually change settings or use the circuit without activating your profile via the connected system.
• Cell phone use must be discreet and not interrupt the workout.

Supervision and Safety

• Initial guidance is required to ensure a safe and personalized experience.
• Report any technical issues or abnormal equipment functioning to staff immediately.
• Each user is responsible for respecting their physical limits and should inform a trainer of any relevant medical conditions.

Pilates & Yoga Studio Terms and Conditions

Access and Eligibility

• Access to the studios is reserved for persons aged 13 and older.
  To participate in classes, you must:
• Hold an Espace Hygie or Espace Hygie & Sporthèque membership; or
• Have a valid 10-class pass; or
• Pay a guest fee, according to current policies.
• Some specialized classes (e.g., Aerial Yoga) may require prior registration for a full session or prior experience.

Reservation and Cancellation

• All classes require reservation, up to 24 hours in advance via the online platform or at reception.
• Cancellations must be made at least two (2) hours before the class to avoid loss of the session or access restrictions.

Studio Usage Rules

• Maintaining calm and silence is essential in the yoga/pilates area, including the adjacent corridor.
  Participants must:
  • Arrive 5 minutes before class;
  • Wear comfortable, appropriate attire;
  • Bring their own yoga mat (additional accessories are provided for certain classes);
  • Disinfect used equipment after each class (blocks, straps, blankets, etc.).
  • Outdoor shoes, bags, and coats are not allowed in the studios; they must be stored in lockers or on provided shelves.
  • The area is fragrance-free – please avoid scented products.
  • Cell phones must be on silent or turned off during class.
  • Respect for personal space, instructor instructions, and group pace is expected at all times.

Special Considerations – Aerial Yoga
For safety reasons:

• Jewelry, watches, zippers, and sharp objects are prohibited;
• Short- or long-sleeved shirts are required to prevent friction and for hygiene of the aerial fabric;
• Anyone with vertigo, hypertension, glaucoma, herniated discs, or other serious medical conditions should consult a healthcare professional before participating.

Specific Policy for the Reformer Studio

Regulations for Pilates Classes on Reformers

• 1 reservation per day : Each member may reserve only one class per day.
• Cancellation at least 2 hours before the class : Any cancellation must be made at least 2 hours before the start of the class.
• No-show penalty : In case of a no-show without prior cancellation within the allowed timeframe, a fee of $25 will be applied.

Consent

By purchasing a membership granting access to the Reformer Studio, I confirm that I have read and understood the booking rules for Pilates classes on Reformers and agree to abide by them. I understand that failure to comply with these rules may result in the application of the mentioned fees.
