Welcome to Adventurers, an exciting 16-week course for advanced children, designed to challenge them and refine their English skills!
With small groups (5 children per group), Adventures offers a personalized learning experience designed to challenge and excite your child as they continue on their path to mastering English!
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss future projects using the future tense (e.g., “I will visit Spain next summer,” “We are going to start a new hobby”).
- Describe actions and experiences in the past (e.g., “I traveled to Japan last year”).
- Formulate W questions (who, what, when, where, why) and answer them.
- Use comparative and superlative adjectives (e.g., “Traveling to Europe is more exciting than traveling locally,” “Fall is the best season”).
- Use countable and uncountable nouns in sentences with appropriate quantifiers (e.g., “I have ten books,” “You had a lot of homework”).
- Formulate complex questions and answers (e.g.: “What did you do during the fall?”, “How do you plan to spend your summer?”, “Which continent do you find most interesting?”).
- Use complex sentences with conjunctions (e.g., “I like autumn because the weather is cool,” “We went traveling although it was rainy”).
Themes Covered: Winter, travel, leisure activities, adjectives, continents and oceans, countable/uncontable nouns, future projects.
