Program Information
WAG: Women's Artistic Gymnastics trains primarily on the vault, uneven bars, beam, and floor exercise. Trampoline devices are used occasionally as supplementary training. From this assessment your athlete may be recommended to participate in recreational gymnastics (~1 hour/week), our pre-competitive developmental program (2-4 hours/week ages 4-6), the Xcel program (4-9 hours-week ages 5+), or the Canadian Competitive Program (6-24 hours/week ages 5+).
TG: Trampoline Gymnastics trains on the tumbling floor (rod floor), double mini trampoline, and trampoline. From this tryout your athlete may be recommended to participate in recreational gymnastics (~1 hour/week), our pre-competitive developmental program (1.5-3 hours/week ages 6-7), or the competitive TG program (6-14 hours/week ages 8+).
The competitive season runs from July to June, a full year. Competitions occur between December and May, and a competitive athlete will typically participate in 4-9 competitions per year depending on their program.
