We invite you to join us for an exciting continuation of our Sports Poomsae Training sessions, expertly led by Coach Artem! Due to the fantastic feedback we've received, we are thrilled to extend the program for six additional sessions. Each session will now last 2 hours, allowing us to delve deeper into competitive Poomsae techniques. Waiver and Release of Liability

I, the undersigned, understand and acknowledge that participation in Sports Poomsae Training at AE Wright School, 1520 Jefferson Ave, with Coach Artem on February 7, 14, 21, 28, March 7, and 21, 2025, involves physical activity, which may include, but is not limited to, stretching, sparring drills, and other athletic activities that come with certain risks. These risks may result in physical injury, including but not limited to, muscle strain, sprains, and other injuries that may arise from participation in physical activities.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in this training, I agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge and agree that my participation (or my child’s participation) in Sports Poomsae Training is entirely voluntary. I voluntarily assume all risks of injury or harm associated with participating in this program.

Release of Liability: I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Taekwondo Manitoba, the event organizers, the AE Wright School facility, and any associated individuals or entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, or actions, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or harm, including death, that may be sustained by me or my child while participating in the program.

Medical Treatment Consent: In the event of an emergency, I consent to any reasonable and necessary medical treatment as deemed appropriate by a qualified healthcare professional. I understand that I am responsible for all costs related to medical treatment and emergency transportation.

Fitness to Participate: I certify that I (or my child) am/is physically fit to participate in this activity and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.

Photo/Video Release

I understand that photos and/or videos may be taken during the Sports Poomsae Training sessions for marketing and promotional purposes. By signing below, I grant Taekwondo Manitoba the irrevocable right to use, publish, and distribute photos and videos that include my (or my child’s) likeness, name, or voice in any media format, including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed materials, without compensation or further approval. I understand that all such photos and videos are the property of Taekwondo Manitoba and may be used indefinitely to promote this or similar future events.
