Alberta Velodrome - Sprint Omnium Feb 6-7

Event Overview

This event marks Alberta Velodrome’s fourth race since opening, and we’re excited to continue building a supportive, fun racing environment for our ridership..

This event introduces a new kind of Omnium for sprint events. On Friday, everyone will have the opportunity to ride a Flying 200m TT. From the results, riders will continue to the Match Sprint competition and be placed in ability categories, A,B,C, for a “Kings of the Track” sprint tournament.

On Saturday, a 500m TT will start the event and rank riders for the Keirin heats.
