Welcome to SummerLAB!
SummerLAB is a fun, hands-on summer camp where kids in Grades 2-7 explore cooking, gardening, food, and creativity. We're looking for enthusiastic high school students who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact in their community.
As a volunteer, you'll help support camp activities, build leadership skills, gain valuable volunteer experience, and be part of a fun and welcoming team. Whether you're helping in the kitchen, the garden, or during games and activities, you'll play an important role in creating a great camp experience for our campers.
Program Details
Location: King George Secondary School

🥬Dates: Tuesday to Friday, July 14 – August 7, 2026
🥦Volunteer Shifts:
- 9:00 am – 11:00 am
- 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
🥕Volunteer Commitment: Flexible! Volunteers can participate for as many days, shifts, or weeks as their schedule allows. There is no minimum or maximum commitment.
🫛Orientation: A short in-person volunteer orientation is required before participating.
