Informed Consent - Adult
To register online, the applicant (or their parent or legal guardian on their behalf) must read and agree to the following conditions.
1. I release all individuals and groups associated with Rivers Edge Camp from any liability associated with any accident or sickness experienced by myself, with the understanding that the camp staff will be taking reasonable precautions to guard against any situation of this nature.
2. I give permission for the reasonable use of photos and videos of myself for any camp-related promotions.
3. I give permission for the reasonable use of my email address to keep me informed of camp related communications.
4. I understand that camp capacities may change, as per Mountain View County regulations. If there is a decrease in the capacity at camp, attendees will be admitted based on registration date.
5. Rivers Edge Camp is a Christian camp. The camp’s statement of faith can be found (here). While I may / may not agree completely with Rivers Edge Camp’s statement of faith, I / my party agrees to be respectful of camp's position, and will behave in a way that is consistent with camp’s statement of faith.
6. I understand that no alcohol or drugs (cannabis or otherwise) are permitted on camp property.
7. I understand that the Country Christmas Fundraising supper is a fundraising event.
8. I understand that I should use Alberta Road 579 to Range Road 50 (not Township Road 300) to arrive at camp.
9. All activities have various risk as a result of participating in them. I release all individuals (volunteers, staff, board members, etc.) and groups associated with Rivers Edge Camp from any liability associated with any accident or sickness experienced by the camper, with the understanding that the camp staff will be taking reasonable precautions to guard against any situation of this nature. This includes, but is not limited to equine activities, participation in high ropes, bmx riding, archery, wall climbing, or any other activities.
