Award Criteria:
Grants in support of coaching seminars may be made to host organization (university or provincial/regional sport association). Seminars must occur between July 1 of the year of application and June 30 of the following year. The Coaching Seminars Program is targeted at the development of coaches within a sport, or a number of sports, at the grassroots, developmental, or high-performance levels. Coaches need to be provided the opportunity to share and expand their knowledge, improve their skills, and participate in coaching development seminars to supplement the information and techniques they have developed through the National Coaching Certification Program and their own experiences.
Preference will be given to those organizations who offer innovative seminars not previously funded by the Fund.
Award Value:
Two grants of up to $4,000.
