Escondido Recreation Scholarship Application 2025

The Escondido Recreation Scholarship helps to ensure that recreation opportunities are available for all of our community members who demonstrate a financial need.
Eligible recipients will receive $100 each or a maximum of $300 per family per calendar year.

To qualify for this scholarship:

An applicant's gross household income will be no more than 50% of the County's Area Median Income.
Applicants must be able to provide proof of residency or be able to verify they are experiencing homelessness in Escondido.
Applicants must be able to provide proof of income by uploading the most recent federal tax filings along with a government issued I.D.
Funding is limited and not guaranteed.
Applicants must apply each year and will be selected on a first come first served basis.
