Upon submission of your staff application, you will be notified as to what is needed to complete the application process. It could be one or all of the following:
1) Police Check – All staff over the age of 18, regardless of position, are now required to have a vulnerable sector and criminal police check within the past five years on file, when accompanied annually by a reference letter from your church leadership. You will be notified of what is needed and be provided with the necessary information to complete the police / background check.
2) Spiritual Reference Check from a Church Leader – A spiritual reference must be provided by your elder, pastor or youth leader. They will need to complete the document from the website and provide it directly to camp. YOU are responsible for providing the document to the church leader either physically or electronically.
3) Personal Reference Letters – If this is your very first time serving at camp, you will be required to submit 2 letters of references. They will need to complete the document from the website and provide it directly to camp. YOU are responsible for providing the document to them either physically or electronically. At least one of the two must know you in a context outside of your local church. The reference cannot be from an immediate family member.
