Kukkiwon Committee Expression of Interest

Taekwondo Manitoba has a number of standing committees that support the governance and implementation of taekwondo events and activities in Manitoba. Committee members are volunteer positions appointed by the Board of Taekwondo Manitoba.

The Kukkiwon Committee is TM’s vital link between our provincial clubs and the World Taekwondo Headquarters. Members help Manitoba’s Black Belts navigate the global certification landscape, support local Masters through the “Made-in-Canada” certification process, and maintain the provincial registry of Kukkiwon-recognized Black Belts. A background in dan promotion and certification processes is a strong asset. The Committee Chair must hold a minimum Kukkiwon 5th Dan.

Eligibility Requirements

All applicants must be a Taekwondo Manitoba member in good standing.

Successful committee appointments are required to complete a Criminal Record Check and hold a valid "Respect in Sport" certification.
