Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District - Band Performance Application: 2026 Concerts in the Park

The Concerts in the Park Committee is now accepting applications for the 2026 Concerts in the Park series. To be considered, applications must be completed in full and submitted by the end of day on Sunday, February 8, 2026. Selected bands will be notified by Friday, March 6, 2026.

Due to the high volume of submissions, only bands that are selected will be contacted. While every effort will be made to notify selected applicants, bands that do not hear from us should assume they were not selected. We kindly ask that applicants refrain from contacting staff regarding the status of their submission. Thank you for your understanding and for your interest in our concert series.

Concerts in the Park

Event Description: Concerts in the Park is a free, joint concert series presented by the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce and the Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District. The 2026 season will feature four to five concerts, with each evening highlighting a different musical genre to create a diverse and engaging experience for the community.
Event Dates: 2nd and 4th Thursdays in June and July (June 11 and 25 and July 9 and 23), with a tentative additional concert on August 6th
Event & Set Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm
Event Location: Village Park (7997 California Ave.) and/or Fair Oaks Park (11549 Fair Oaks Blvd.)

Please note that the Concerts in the Park Committee has a set budget for the entire series. Due to budget limitations, bands with performance fees exceeding $2,000 will not be considered. The average payment per band is approximately $800, with fees typically ranging from no cost to $1,200.

While all bands with fees up to $2,000 will be considered, the committee must carefully manage the overall series budget. As a result, some bands—despite being strong contenders—may not be selected if their fees cannot be accommodated. Thank you for your understanding.
