We're excited to create a magical experience for your child's special day! Here are some important details:

🎈 Party Address: 728 Bel Air Rd, Unit 127, Bel Air, MD 21014 (in Stack N Store commercial park).

⏰ Arrival Time: Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of your party, allowing us to ensure everything is perfectly set up for your celebration.

🍕 Refreshments and Decor: We provide Pizza, Snacks, Bottled Water, Decor, Balloons, Plates, Napkins, Forks, Table Clothes, and More (t-shirts and party favors depending on the package)! We provide everything except the cake!

📝 Waiver: All parents are required to fill out the waiver emailed to them in order for their children (age 6 and over) to swing in the hammocks. Parents/ adult guests /children under 6 are asked to please refrain from swinging in the hammocks.

🎉 Adult Attendance at Parties: Our space is designed to comfortably accommodate up to 6 adults per party.

🎊 Clean-up: No need to worry about clean-up! We'll handle both set-up and breakdown.

Grounded in the Clouds Birthday Party Schedule (2-Hour Party)

Setup Time: Host may arrive 15 minutes before the start of the party for setup. Note: Children are not permitted in the silks during this time.

First 5-10 Minutes: Stretching and welcoming period, allowing time for late arrivals.

75-80 Minutes: Aerial yoga instruction, free play, and group photos.

25  minutes: Pizza and Birthday Cake/Cupcakes

Last 5 Minutes: Preparation for departure and gathering belongings.

Post-Party Cleanup: To ensure a smooth transition for the next party, we kindly ask that the host utilize the 15-minute post-party cleanup time to tidy up any personal belongings or decorations.

Overtime and Cleanup Fees:

• A $25 fee for every additional 30 minutes beyond the scheduled time.
• A $50 fee will be charged for excessive cleanup if the studio is left in a disrespectful state, such as vomit, food on equipment, or damage to property.

Grounded in the Clouds Birthday Party Cancellation and Payment Policy

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review our birthday party cancellation and payment policy:

1. Deposit Policy

• A $100 deposit is required to secure your party booking.
• The deposit is fully refundable if the cancellation is made within 72 hours of booking, provided the party date is more than two weeks away.
• If the party is booked within two weeks of the event date, the $100 deposit is non-refundable.

2. Final Payment

• The remaining balance for the party will be automatically charged to your account 7 days prior to the event.
• We offer three party packages to accommodate different group sizes: 6, 9, or 12 children.
• Our packages are structured to ensure we have adequate food and supplies for all attendees.

3. Change in Number of Attendees

• If the number of children attending changes after the 7-day pre-party payment has been processed, no refunds will be given for the reduction in attendees.
• We do not provide discounts for fewer children than the package size. Party packages are fixed for groups of 6, 9, or 12 children.

4. Rescheduling Policy

• If you need to reschedule your party, please contact us at least 2 weeks prior to your original party date. This allows us to accommodate other bookings and coordinate resources efficiently.

Please note: We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. However, as we have a limited number of party slots available each day, we must adhere to this policy to ensure fairness to all clients.

Grounded in the Clouds: Parent Code of Conduct for Aerial Yoga Participation

Welcome to Grounded in the Clouds! We are thrilled to have your child join us for a fun and unique aerial yoga experience. To ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable time, we ask all parents to review and agree to the following Code of Conduct before your child’s participation in any class, workshop, or birthday party.

1. Attire Guidelines

• Hair: Children with long hair should wear their hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun.
• Jewelry: No jewelry should be worn, for safety.
• Footwear: Grippy socks are required to prevent slipping on the silks/hammocks. Grippy socks may be purchased for $5.00 at the studio.
• Clothing: Children should wear pants/shorts made from non-slippery material and a fitted shirt or tank top that can be tucked in, as they will be hanging upside down.

2. Behavior Expectations

• Listening to Instructors: Children are expected to listen to their instructor at all times and follow directions carefully.
• Safe Use of Equipment: No swinging on the aerial silks or hammocks at an unsafe height, as our structure and equipment are not intended for such. Swinging can create a dangerous situation, leading to potential collisions or injuries.
• No Running or Roughhousing: Running and rough play are not permitted in the studio, as these behaviors can compromise safety. 
• Respectful Movement: Children should not move ahead or attempt aerial tricks they may have learned elsewhere, nor should they attempt drops or any potentially dangerous movements.
• Respect for the Space: Grounded in the Clouds is a yoga studio first, and we ask that all children treat the studio space respectfully. While we love to have fun, excessively loud screaming or disruptive behavior is not allowed.

3. Studio Safety Guidelines

• Mats: No shoes are permitted on the mats.
• Hammocks: Once the aerial instruction portion of the event is over, children will not be permitted to bring the hammocks back down to use again under any circumstances.
• Food and Drink: No food or drinks may be brought into the aerial yoga area. Food may only be enjoyed in the designated party room or reception area.
• Alternative Activities for Younger Children: Children under the age of 6 are not permitted to participate in aerial yoga activities. However, we will provide coloring activities for younger children who wish to join in a quieter activity.

4. Spectator Guidelines for Parents

We kindly ask that parents watch from the designated viewing area and avoid entering the instructional space. Our instructors are trained to safely guide each child, and parental assistance can sometimes affect a child’s confidence or lead to incorrect technique. 

5. Supporting Safety During the Event

• Waivers: Every participant must have a signed waiver to take part in the event.
• Reinforcing Safe Behavior: If you observe a child engaging in unsafe behavior, such as running, roughhousing, or not listening to the instructor, we ask that you remind them of our safety expectations.

Waiver

Assumption Of Risk, Consent & Liability

IN CONSIDERATION of allowing my minor child/ward to participate in Kids Aerial Yoga, provided by Zen Out Events, LLC DBA Grounded in the Clouds

1. I am a parent/guardian having full legal responsibility for decisions regarding my minor child.

2. I believe that my minor child is physically, emotionally and mentally able to participate in this program.

3. I understand, and will instruct my minor child, that all applicable rules for participation must be followed at all times.

4. I will immediately remove my minor child from participation, and notify Grounded in the Clouds, if at any time I sense that my minor child has experienced any deterioration in his/her physical, emotional or mental fitness for continued participation in the program.

Contraindications for Aerial Classes: Recent surgery, cardiac irregularities, some spinal issues, glaucoma, vertigo, very high or very low blood pressure.

Agreement: I, the undersigned, acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily in an event offered by Zen Out Events, LLC (DBA Grounded in the Clouds). I recognize that the event may cause physical and mental strain and distress and may result in physical injury, property loss, or death. I am fully aware of the hazards involved and am participating at my own risk. I agree not to sue or make any other claims against Zen Out Events, LLC (DBA Grounded in the Clouds), or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death. I understand the need to disclose any pre-existing medical or other conditions that may affect the risk of injury, loss, or damage. I acknowledge that the teacher-student relationship is between myself and the teacher of each class, and I waive any claim against Zen Out Events, LLC (DBA Grounded in the Clouds) and their teachers, servants, or agents for any injury or loss sustained during my practice. I understand the importance of notifying Zen Out Events, LLC (DBA Grounded in the Clouds) of any relevant conditions prior to attendance and consulting with my doctor if I have any concerns.
