-The successful recipient of a Manitoba Horse Council Award
exemplifies the characteristics defined within the respective award criteria
-Members may be recognized for outstanding achievement or for continual outstanding contributions within the community
-The Awards committee encourages those submitting nominations, to include as much detail as possible to define the impact their nominee has made
-Nominee must be a MHC member (with the exception of Volunteer of the Year)
-Nominee must receive two nominations from separate nominators
