By entering the Elliot Lake Photography Competition and accepting below, participants agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. All submitted photographs must be the original work of the participant and must not infringe upon the rights of any other person or organization.
2. Participants retain ownership and copyright of their submitted images.
3. Participants grant the City of Elliot Lake non-exclusive rights to use, reproduce, publish, and display submitted photographs for any purposes, with no entitlement to license fees or royalties. This may include but is not limited to use in print materials, social media, websites, presentations, advertisements, and other City publications. These rights shall not expire.
4. The City of Elliot Lake may edit, crop, or otherwise modify submitted images as required for promotional use while maintaining the integrity of the original photograph.
5. Where possible, photo credit will be given to the photographer when images are used by the City.
6. Participants confirm that they have obtained permission from any identifiable individuals appearing in their photographs.
7. The City of Elliot Lake reserves the right to disqualify submissions deemed inappropriate, offensive, or not in keeping with the spirit of the competition.
8. Designs will be judged by an independent panel and the public with winners announced by July 8, 2026, and all decisions will be final.
9. Submission of a photograph constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
