Ringette Manitoba's Recruiting Committee is looking for Interested individuals in running for a position on the Ringette Manitoba Board of Directors. Interested candidates are requested to complete this form. The Ringette Manitoba board meets a minimum of 4 times per fiscal year (May-Apr). The majority of meetings are held virtually. The board does appoint a number of committees, and you may be asked to join a committee, the time commitment for each committee varies.
The positions open for Election are:
PRESIDENT- 2 Year Term
DIRECTOR at Large - 2 Year Term
DIRECTOR at Large - 2 Year Term
DIRECTOR at Large - 2 Year Term

Election of Directors
4.2 ELIGIBILITY – To be eligible for election as a Director, an individual must:
a) Be at least 18 years of age;
b) Be a resident of Manitoba;
c) Not be an employee of the Corporation;
d) Have the power under law to contract;
e) Not be deemed ineligible pursuant to any policies of the Corporation.
f) Not have the status of bankrupt;
g) Not be a Director or Officer of any member class of the Organization.
4.4 APPLICATION– Any application of an individual for election as Director will:
a) Include the required application completed in full; and
b) Be submitted to the Recruiting Committee at least twenty (20) days prior to the Annual General Meeting to be included in the slate submitted to the Corporation’s Head Office for distribution to the members.
4.5 NOMINATIONS FROM THE FLOOR – Nominations will not be accepted from the floor. Applications must be submitted in compliance with by-law 4.4 to ensure appropriate screening of volunteers can be completed.
4.6 INCUMBENTS – Individuals currently on the Board of Directors wishing to be re-elected are not subject to the application process, but must provide written notice to the Head Office of the Corporation thirty (30) days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
