U12 Team Toba Development Program Description

Empower your young athlete with the U12 Team Toba Development Program! Designed for ages 12 and under, this program cultivates fundamental skills and athletic development in a supportive and engaging environment.

Program Highlights:

• Holistic Athletic Development: We focus on physical literacy, foundational skills, and the essentials of sports science.
• Engaging Coaching: Our coaches deliver age-appropriate training in a fun and positive atmosphere.
• Fundamental Movement Mastery: We emphasize efficient body movement and physical literacy.
• Athletic Development Focus: We're focusing on physical literacy – mastering fundamental skills like running, jumping, landing, throwing, and changing direction – and developing bodyweight strength. We'll be using games and engaging activities to make these sessions fun and dynamic, ensuring our young athletes develop athleticism while enjoying the process.
• Introduction to Sport Science: We provide accessible nutrition and mental performance insights.
• Progress Tracking & Baseline Assessments: Athlete testing establishes a baseline and tracks progress.
• Sparring Training: Sunday sessions focus on the practical application of skills.
• Preparation for the 2025 Manitoba Open: The program aims to prepare athletes for the Manitoba Open.
