2025-2026 Breakfast Club Application

Over the past several seasons, successful Breakfast Club programs initiated by Hockey Manitoba’s Coach Mentorship program have emerged all across the province. Breakfast Clubs provide additional skill development for players prior to their school day with participants taking part in an on-ice development session followed by a nutritional breakfast.

Hockey Manitoba will provide $250 grants to Minor Hockey Associations that develop a new and sustainable Breakfast Club program in 2025 - 2026. Already established Breakfast Clubs can apply for $100 grants.

At the Breakfast Club everyone is welcome. From first year Under-7 players to Under-18 players, and new families – everyone is welcome.

The program is solely run by the community once the program has been started up. Local coaches run the practices and volunteers are responsible for organizing the breakfast.

Please note: Existing breakfast clubs will need to re-apply each season in order to receive funding.
