In the context of a semi-private class, a maximum of one additional child is allowed, which enables us to accommodate up to two children per session. It is important that the children have similar levels to ensure an optimal learning experience.

Traditional Shotokan Karate Course - 13 years and + green to black belts Traditional Shotokan karate class - all ages - white to orange belts.

Mandatory affiliation

Each participant must be affiliated with the Shotokan Karate Association (SKA).
The annual affiliation includes:
• Accident insurance • Sports passport • Camps and seminars • Competitions • Grading exams.

17 years and under = $30, 18 years and over = $40.
Instructors Chantal and Paul are responsible for affiliations.

Cancellation and Modification Policy

Booking of One or More Classes

Course or Event Bookings
A course or event booking is confirmed once full payment has been made. A confirmation email will be sent once the reservation is validated.

If you need to cancel OR make changes to an order you just placed, please contact customer service as soon as possible by email at info@sportheque.com or fill out the following form: https://activitymessenger.com/p/z8TunG5, clearly indicating your order number and the cancellations and/or changes you wish to make. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Cancellation by the Client
Before the start date of the course(s):
Free cancellation and full refund or applicable credit.

After the start of the course(s):
Refund will be granted after deduction for services already rendered, plus a 10% fee based on the value of the remaining classes.

Modification by the Client
More than 72 hours before the start of the course:
Changes can be made free of charge, subject to availability.

Less than 72 hours before the start of the course:
A 10% fee may apply, subject to availability and at the discretion of La Sporthèque.

Absences and Make-up Classes
Classes missed by participants or their parents cannot be made up, refunded, or credited. However, in cases of force majeure (e.g., illness with a medical note, exceptional events), a partial credit may be granted at the discretion of La Sporthèque.

Cancellation or Modification by La Sporthèque
In the event of cancellation by La Sporthèque (due to weather conditions, technical issues, insufficient enrollment, etc.):
A full refund or free rescheduling will be offered. Participants will be notified by email or phone as soon as possible.

Waiver and Release of Liability
In consideration of my registration and participation in the activities, programs, and events offered or sponsored by La Sporthèque, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Acting on my own behalf and on behalf of my heirs, legal representatives, assigns, and anyone else who may act on my behalf, I hereby waive, release, and discharge La Sporthèque, as well as its officers, employees, representatives, and anyone acting on its behalf, from any and all liability for injury, illness, death, or material loss or damage, of any nature whatsoever, that may arise directly or indirectly from my participation in these activities.

This waiver applies to any claim, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, including those arising from negligence or breach of a legal duty, particularly those under the Occupiers’ Liability Act.

I also acknowledge that La Sporthèque is not responsible for any loss, theft, unauthorized use, or damage to personal property that I may bring onto the premises or to activity locations.

I understand that this release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law. If any provision of this document is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that decision will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which will remain in full effect.

Usage and Privacy Policy
I understand and accept the terms and conditions of use and the privacy policy, including the collection of personal information necessary for registration, billing, and the issuance of the Relevé 24 tax slip.
