The Sporthèque Cup is a flexible-schedule squash tournament that runs over an entire season!

From September to February, you accumulate points by playing against several players of similar skill levels. In March and April, there will be a knockout tournament to determine who the champions of the Sporthèque Cup will be! The number of matches varies between 2 and 3 per month.

Cost: $25+tax + $25 annual membership to Squash Outaouais

Who is it for? For novice, intermediate, and advanced players

For players who are just starting out, we recommend beginning with 'squash for beginners' for a few months before joining the cup. Not sure about your level? Feel free to write to us to ask.

Not a member of Sporthèque?
You are welcome to participate in the Sporthèque Cup! However, you will need to pay the daily access fee ($20+tax) when you play a match. You can also purchase a 10-access card for $170+tax. There is also a special rate of $12+tax on weekends after 1 PM.

By signing up for the league, you agree to the following rules:

Match Schedule and Communication

I understand that there is no fixed day for the Sporthèque Cup. I will receive the contact information of other players to schedule my own matches. Consequently, I accept that other players will have access to my name, email, and phone number.
I commit to contacting other players to schedule my matches and to respond to their emails/text messages as promptly as possible.

Friendly Spirit and Respect for the Rules

The league is friendly: the enjoyment of playing and respect among participants take precedence over competition.
The official squash rules apply, particularly those concerning obstructions (no let, let, stroke). If you are unsure about the application of the rules, please contact us, we will be happy to guide you.
Each player commits to being honest: acknowledging a ball that has bounced twice, an out ball, and situations where they have hindered their opponent.

Safety and Courtesy

Players must at all times avoid dangerous actions and play with control. Excessive swings are not tolerated.
The use of protective eyewear is mandatory for players aged 18 and under and highly recommended for adult players.
Civility and mutual respect are expected at every match.

Communication

Any issues or special situations must be communicated promptly to the organizer.
