This rental form must be completed and the rental fee submitted before an instrument can be issued.
• The Westwinds member assumes responsibility for the instrument at all times while in their possession and custody.
• The Westwinds member will reimburse The Westwinds Music Society for any loss or damage to the instrument.
• Members must carry personal insurance against the loss or damage to the instrument.
• Without exception, the instrument will be returned to The Westwinds Music Society at the end of the instructional year or at the request of The Westwinds Music Society. The instrument will be returned cleaned and in good working condition.
• Westwinds member assumes full responsibility for any and all accessories that were originally supplied with the instrument. This may include, but not limited to, mouthpiece, straps, ligatures, caps, et.
• The Westwinds member will inform The Westwinds Music Society immediately in the event of loss or damage to the instrument. The selection of a repair shop, should this be necessary, will be at the sole discretion of The Westwinds Music Society. Westwinds members should never attempt to repair a damaged instrument themselves.
• Negligence by the Westwinds member in the care of the instrument may result in the cancellation of the privilege afforded by this agreement. Failure to comply with any of the terms specified will also be considered groups for cancellation.
• A new instruments registration contract must be completed for each term (regular or summer). Although every attempt will be made for members to continue using the same instrument, this cannot be guaranteed.
• Instrument registration fees are non-refundable.
