Party Policies & Guidelines
In the event of any damages occurring during the pool party, Greater Houston Pool Management reserves the right to hold the homeowner financially responsible. Any costs for repairs or replacements will be automatically charged to the card on file.
If the number of guests in the party is greater than the number submitted on the booking form, Greater Houston Pool Management reserves the right to deny admittance or schedule an additional lifeguard and charge the hourly lifeguard fee after the party.
- Set up and clean up time can be reserved in 15 minute increments for an additional fee.
- End of Party: Lifeguards will clear the pool 15 minutes before the scheduled end time (only applicable for private parties).
- Chaperones: One adult is required for every 10 children under 18.
Booking Policy
- Booking requests are not guaranteed and are based on association guidelines, pool operating hours, and staffing availability.
- Once your request has been submitted, the party coordinator will contact you with a quote and if any adjustments need to be made.
- Parties cannot be booked on the first and last weekend of the pool season, holidays, and holiday weekends.
- Requests submitted less than 2 weeks in advance will incur a rush fee.
- Payment is due 1 week before the start of the party. Bookings are not finalized until payment has been made.
- The party sponsor is responsible for disposing of all trash in an appropriate manner.
- We strive to accommodate all special requests; however, we cannot guarantee that all accommodations can be made.
- If you have concerns that occur during the party (issues, staff, etc.) that the Pool Manager cannot solve, please email poolparties@greaterhoustonpool.com.
Cancellation Policy
- Administrative fees, Rush fees, and Processing fees are non-refundable.
- More than 72 hours notice: 100% refund of lifeguard & service fees (minus administrative fee and processing fee).
- Less than 72 hours notice: 50% refund of lifeguard & service fees (minus administrative fee and processing fee).
- Less than 3 hours notice: No refunds given.
- Refund requests: Must be submitted in writing within 60 days.
Weather Cancellations
- Cancellations must occur at least 3 hours prior to start time for a refund or to reschedule.
- If unable to reschedule, lifeguard fees (minus administrative, rush, and processing fees) will be refunded.
- To cancel or reschedule, send an email request to poolparties@greaterhoustonpool.com. Leave your name, pool, start time, and cancellation request.
Weather Policy
- Heavy Rain: Pool will close if the bottom isn't visible.
- Thunder: 30 minute pool closure from last sound of thunder.
- Lightning: 30 minute pool closure from last sight of lightning. Guests may be asked to leave the facility. Lightning will also be monitored using the Weatherbug Spark app. If lightning is within 10 miles of the pool, it will be closed until lightning moves 10 miles away.
- If party stops due to weather, you’ll be refunded remaining time (rounded to nearest 15 mins) minus administrative, rush, and processing fees. Please note the time on the Pool Party Use Form.
- No refunds will be given if you choose to wait out the weather.
Lifeguards have full authority to enforce safety and policy rules
