Welcome to Pathfinders, an engaging and interactive 16-week course designed for children who already have a small base in English and are ready to explore more!
Pathfinders offers small group classes (maximum of 5 children per group), ensuring that your child receives personalized attention and an engaging, age-appropriate learning experience that builds on their existing knowledge and sets them on the path to English language success!
Highlighted learning objectives:
- Basic Yes/No Questions: Answer simple yes/no questions to practice basic questioning skills. (e.g., “Do you like apples?” “Yes, I do.”)
- Use “I have” to talk about possession (e.g., “I have a toy,” “I have a cat.”)
- Use “I am” to describe how they feel: Create basic sentences to talk about feelings. (e.g., “I am happy,” “I am scared.”)
- Identify and use vocabulary words for toys, pets, jungle animals
- Ask and answer basic questions about the weather: (e.g., “Is it sunny?” “Yes, it is.”)
- Talk about days of the week for activities: (e.g., “I go to school on Monday,” “We visit on Sunday.”)
- Name months of the year for events: (e.g., “My birthday is in May,” “School starts in September.”)
