Squash Outaouais League

The Outaouais Squash League (all levels) allows you to play a match each week against an opponent of your skill level. Matches start at 4:30 PM, 5:15 PM, 5:55 PM, 6:35 PM, 7:15 PM, 7:55 PM, or 8:35 PM. Players who are not available in the early evening can let us know by email.

Monday evenings
January 19 to April 27 (13 weeks)
$65+tax ($170+tax for non-members of Sporthèque) + $25 annual membership fee to Squash Outaouais
Finals night on April 27 with pizza and drinks included

For whom? For beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert players. The league consists of 8 or 9 divisions of 6 players allowing you to be grouped with players of your level.

Squash League Rules

By signing up for the league, you agree to the following rules:

Match Schedule
Matches must be played on Monday evenings, except in exceptional circumstances.

If you are unavailable, you must report it in the survey sent at the beginning of the session, by email before the weekly schedule is sent out, or in case of a last-minute change, by directly communicating with your opponent and the organizer.

Friendly Spirit and Respect for Rules

The league is friendly: the enjoyment of playing and respect among participants take precedence over competition.
The official squash rules apply, particularly those regarding obstructions (no let, let, stroke). If you are unsure about how the rules apply, please contact us, and we will be happy to guide you.
Each player commits to being honest: acknowledging a ball that has bounced twice, an out ball, and situations where they have hindered their opponent.

Safety and Courtesy

Players must always avoid dangerous actions and play with control. Excessive swings are not tolerated.
The wearing of protective eyewear is mandatory for players aged 18 and under and is highly recommended for adult players.
Civility and mutual respect are expected at every match.

Communication

Any problem or special situation must be communicated promptly to the organizer.
