Acknowledgement and Acceptance – BC Sport Cheer

By signing below, you confirm the following:

1. You have read and understood the BCSC Code of Ethics, BC Sport Cheer Code of Conduct, and all BCSC policies.
2. You confirm that all BCSC member teams, coaches, teachers, administrators, supervisors, employees, volunteers, and adult participants registered through your club/school/program will abide by these policies. 
3. You have the appropriate authority to sign on behalf of your club, school, or program. 
4. You acknowledge your club/school/program’s commitment to reasonably prevent abuse of BCSC participants. 
5. You require criminal record checks and vulnerable sector data for all people necessary as listed within the BCSC Screening Policy. 
6. You ensure all people who hold a position of power over participants have read and understand the BCSC policies and codes. 
7. You ensure that all people who hold positions such as coach, volunteer, owner, and coach-in-training meet all requirements of their respective roles.
