By completing your membership, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Duration and Renewal
Your membership is valid for the duration selected above and may be renewed upon request or by purchasing a renewal via our website, in person, or by email.
2. Contract Cancellation and Specific Terms
2.1. Annual Membership
In accordance with Sections 197 to 205 of the Consumer Protection Act (CQLR, c. P-40.1), the consumer may cancel an annual membership within a period equal to one-tenth of the total contract duration — that is, thirty-six and a half (36.5) days in the case of a one-year contract. In such cases, the merchant is entitled to charge no more than one-tenth (1/10) of the total contract value, including administrative fees.
Outside of this cancellation window, an annual Espace Hygie membership or a combined Espace Hygie & La Sporthèque membership may be cancelled without penalty, provided that a written cancellation request is submitted at least thirty (30) days before the next scheduled automatic payment. Any payments due within this notice period remain payable and will not be refunded.
The membership will remain active until the end of the already-paid period, and all subsequent payments will be automatically cancelled.
You may cancel your membership at any time by submitting a written request via our cancellation form.
2.2. Short-Term Memberships
No refunds, suspensions, or cancellations will be granted for short-term memberships, including one-month (1-month) memberships, except as expressly provided under the Consumer Protection Act applicable to health studios. Any such request must be supported by appropriate documentation.
2.3. Class Passes
Class passes are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-cancellable under any circumstances.
However, they have no expiration date and may be used at any time, provided the conditions under which the service is offered remain unchanged.
You may cancel your membership at any time by submitting a written request via our cancellation form.
3. Membership Cancellation
According to the Consumer Protection Act, a contract may be cancelled within a period equal to one-tenth of the total subscription duration (i.e., 36.5 days). In such cases, the merchant is entitled to charge up to one-tenth of the total contract value, including administrative fees. The applicable legal provisions are set out in Sections 197 to 205 of the Act.
It is also possible to cancel an Espace Hygie or Espace Hygie & La Sporthèque membership without penalty, provided the cancellation request is submitted at least one month before the next payment date. Otherwise, the payment will be processed and is non-refundable. The membership will remain active until the end of the paid month. All subsequent payments will be cancelled.
