License Category Change Request Form

You will receive a confirmation of your request by email.

Requests received by Monday 12noon will be processed by Thursday (contingent on volume of requests/and turn around time of the approval). Requests will be processed weekly (not daily).

You must continue to race in the race category on your license until you receive a revised license with the new approved category.

The race category on your license must match the category that you register to race in.

Race category requests will not be accepted on race day.

APPROVAL PROCESS & ESTIMATED TIMELINES:

Step 1: Complete form and submit by Monday noon. Forms received after 12noon on Monday will be processed the following week.

Step 2: Chief Commissaire/Race Director/Director of Competition/Head Coach (for provincial program athletes) approves or declines all requests and submits revision to MCA office.

Step 3: MCA office updates race license category, processes new license, and emails athlete new license.

NOTE: You will need to continue to race in the category listed on your license until you receive a new license with the revised category. The category on your license must match the race category you register for and race in.

Category Move-ups/Move-downs will not be accepted on race day.
