Join us for an inspiring behind-the-scenes look at a career that ultimately found a home in Kelowna at CHBC (now Global News). What was meant to be a short stop in the Okanagan became a 20-year career rooted in a community she loves. This talk is a reflection on resilience, career pivots, newsroom realities, and the privilege of telling the stories that matter—the good, the bad, and everything in between. You’ll also hear about community involvement, emceeing local events, volunteering, and a beloved weekly Adopt-a-Pet segment that has helped countless animals find loving homes. An engaging, talk about following opportunity, finding your place, and the power of sharing community stories.
