Epic Skills Pathway Successfully Launched! We successfully launched the Epic Skills Pathway system this weekend with 30 fencers tested, on 3 levels, in two weapons! We will have more testing coming soon for fencers with more experience as well as another test for our younger fencers. Soon, we will have every Epic fencer under the age of 18 tested and given feedback on where to improve. Fencers over 18 are also welcome to be tested! For those that participated this weekend, we will be preparing report cards and rewards this week. Stay tuned!

Epic Equipment Policy and Expectations- This Epic Equipment Policy can be found on our website under Policies
- Key points:
- Club equipment is for day-use in the club and is not to be removed from the premises unless a coach has given permission
- The purpose of the club equipment is for use by:
- Beginner fencers
- Intermediate fencers who have not yet purchased their own set of equipment
- Fencers who have received a KidSport Grant.
- A fencer whose last working equipment has broken and is in the process of being repaired
- During their first season of fencing, members are expected to start purchasing their own set of fencing gear.
- They are expected to have a complete set by their first provincial level tournament or by the start of their second year of fencing classes (with exception to those who have received a KidSport grant)
- The purpose of the club equipment is not:
- For when a fencer doesn't feel like using their own equipment
- Fencers who are borrowing club equipment are strongly encouraged to arrive early to gather the equipment so they can be ready in time for drills so they do not disrupt the class and/or miss important practice time.
