Monthly Money Saving Tip

The Bow Valley Fresh Food Box is of the best ways to save money on fresh fruits and vegetables!

Each month, you can purchase a box filled with 15 seasonal fruits and vegetables, delivered to pick-up locations in Banff, Canmore, Exshaw, and Lake Louise. There are three payment levels to meet different needs. 

Bow Valley Food Alliance has more information, available in many languages, about other food supports in the Bow Valley.

We are working on bringing free beginner/intermediate English classes for Permanent Residents of Canada back to the Bow Valley, but we need to confirm that there is interest in these classes. 

Please let us know by completing this interest form or sending an email to ssbv@banff.ca. 

 
 

Join Bow Valley Adult Learning Centre English language classes in Banff and Canmore — from Beginner to High Intermediate, plus special topics like English for Driving and Community Conversations Café!

Mountain Maternity and Family Medicine and Canmore Collaborative Health have multiple physicians accepting patients!

If you are comfortable registering online, please use the patient portal, and then book your initial appointment.

If you would like to register in person, please go to Canmore Collaborative Health at 209 - 710 10th Street in Canmore. The reception team will help you.

Information for Families

With students now back at school following the teachers' strike, the Parent Payment Program will stay open for applications until November 14.

Be sure to apply for the program before November 14 to receive $30/day for each day schools were closed for children age 12 and under. Additional payments are available for children up to age 18 who have FSCD contracts. 

Please contact swis@banff.ca if you are have any challenges applying for the Parent Payment Program. 

There are many FREE services and supports for Bow Valley families (with children 0-18) provided by the Family Resource Network.
