Interested in a competitive level dance training program? Does your child love to perform? Want to strengthen your child's self confidence, health and social skills? CDM’s Competitive Program is a successful intensive program that has produced professional and passionate dancers for over 20 seasons. The focus is to educate and empower our students to become well-rounded dancers. We develop and train students at a high caliber of technique and performance with the intent to foster the athlete and artist. We value and build a strong sense of self-esteem, confidence and teamwork into our dancers. Competitive team members will build life-long friendships and learn the importance of cooperation, sportsmanship, conflict resolution and time management skills.
AUDITIONS ARE OPEN TO EVERYONE. Dancers will take part in a fun Jazz Dance Class and a short dance routine. Note: Current Competitive Team Members do not need to re-audition.

Recreational vs. Competitive DancingWhat Parents Should KnowNo matter what program parents choose for their children, dance is a wonderful way to build commitment, get healthy, and have a lot of fun doing both. By weighing a child’s abilities and individual personality against the nature of recreational and competitive dance programs, you can choose which option is best for your child's physical and mental development. Check-out our latest blog post to learn more about what the major differences are between recreational and competitive dancing.
